No other book has moved me and resonated so deeply within me as this book has. This ranks among the most important books I have ever read or will ever read. Within its hundred or so pages, Edward Said articulates everything I want or hope to be as a cultural critic inside or outside of the academy: in search of truth and justice, guided by an unequivocal sense of morality and ethics, and a healthy, critical disposition towards all dogma and ideology. This is a must read, especially in these turbulent and dynamic political times.

The book in PDF format for those that want to read it.

UPDATE: The PDF of the book was removed some time after this post went up.
