Occupy Brunch This Sunday [in Chicago]
Dear Chicago based Tumblr friends,
A smart friend of mine from my graduate days at the University of Chicago is hosting an “Occupy Brunch” at The Co-Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport this Sunday at 11am. The brunch-there will be mimosas!-will include strategizing, discussions, speakers, etc. So for the socialist-inclined amongst you, think about joining the group.
And for those of us who will be taking the CTA to get there, here are some tips:
Take the HALSTED BUS (8) south to 31st or 32nd Street. Walk 4 blocks West to Morgan.
ORANGE LINE to Halsted/Archer, catch the HALSTED BUS to 31st.
RED LINE to Sox/35th, take the 35th STREET BUS (35) West to Morgan. Walk north.
A taxi from the South Loop/Columbia College is around $10.00 (+tip).
